Daytrip to Knuthenborg Safari Park

Last minute program... we were invited to follow a day trip to Knuthenborg Safari Park, the Northern Europe’s largest safari park.

The park was originally laid out in English manor style around 1866, and a 7.5 km long stone wall with 4 distinctive entrances was built around the nearly 600 hectare park. While farm animals and deer once grazed the romantic landscape, now rhinoceroses, antelopes, giraffes, zebras, yaks, bison and elephants roam Northern Europe’s largest safari park.

I am infront of my favourite camel...

The pride of the park is the Siberian tiger reserve - home to the world’s largest cat. We drove through the well secured tiger area and found the following tigers walking around just next to our cars...

Permandangan yg cantik di Knuthenborg Safari.....we enjoy the vast number of rare trees and bushes, some of which were planted at the time of the original English manor-style grounds.

Here, the park has “Småland”; a huge map of Denmark where I could sail in hippopotamuses, play with mini steam trains, playgrounds, kiddo Formula-1 track etc...

And i tried pony ride.....free of charge!!
